Monate is large private game reserve near the small town of Rooiberg in the Limpopo province of South Africa. The reserve, which has a combination of hills and bush veld, is 3400 Ha in size which is owned by only 40 owners. This amounts to 85 Ha per owner.

A full spectrum of animals is stocked, including rhino, giraffe, kudu, eland, rooi hartebees, impala, zebra, hyena, warthogs, wildebeest, and much more. Bird life is prolific.

This beautiful reserve contains a number of large dams with a variety of fish. Other amenities include an emergency generator which automatically kicks in to supply power to all the properties. The reserve is very well maintained with a full time manager and staff.

Monate is totally secure. Crime of any sort is unheard of in the ranch. Strict rules dictate that all workers must vacate the reserve by 17h00 every day. Other rules enforce the peaceful nature of the game reserve, such as prohibiting the use of quad bikes.
